Arvind Sharma/Bhind: In Chambal’s Bhind district, two bridges were washed away in floods two years ago. In such a situation there have been allegations of corruption, but now the government will prepare to rebuild those bridges.
This will benefit the people of the area. A soil test was conducted before the construction of the bridge, built at a cost of Rs 60 crore, began.

Indeed, there was a violent flood in the Sindh River in the first week of August 2021. Due to this flood, the Indurakhi Bridge on the Gaurai Adokhar road and the Jakhnauli Bridge on the Laraul road were washed away by the flood waters, blocking both roads due to the lack of bridges.
In such a situation, the officials of the Bridge Corporation of the Public Works Department prepared a DPR (Detail Project Report) for the reconstruction of these bridges and sent them to the government.
The construction cost is 60 million euros:
The cost of the Jakhnoli Bridge in the DPR was Rs 34.60 crore and the cost of the Indurakhi Bridge was Rs 25.64 crore, which the government had approved in May. In such a case, it must be prepared within two years.

Vehicular traffic has been closed on both bridges for three years now. In such a situation people have to face great difficulties. We will have to wait for two more years before the bridge is ready.
The length of both bridges will be increased:
The construction of the Indurakhi and Jakhnoli bridges over the Sindh River will begin due to the floods in the district two years ago. For this purpose, the draft drawing is recreated. It was decided to increase the length of both bridges.
The length of Indurakhi Bridge was 300 meters and now it is being extended to 425 meters. Similarly, the length of the Yakhnoli Bridge was 455 meters. Which is also increased to 555 meters.
