On September 2, 2023, India celebrated a historic moment as ISRO successfully launched the Aditya L1 spacecraft, taking a giant leap toward its maiden solar expedition.
The countdown began 23.10 hours before the launch, and at precisely 11:50 am, Aditya L1 lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
ISRO Chief S Somnath expressed his best wishes for the Aditya spacecraft, highlighting the unique mission approach and the long journey it is embarking on.
